Mizzou Madness is a new and unique basketball event put on by both Missouri basketball teams to introduce fans to the programs. It was held Spet. 30, 2022, and I covered the event that evening as well as turned a package for MizzouXtra recapping the entire event. MizzouXtra is a new 30 -minute sports show KOMU 8 puts on weekly. I love how this story came together as well as how I covered the event online.

The Missouri Tiger’s football team went on the to Auburn, Alabama, and I covered the game for KOMU 8. I filmed the entire game for the station along with doing some field reporting after the game was over. In the video attached to the web story, the highlights I filmed are shown along with a SOTWRAP from the field at Auburn.

For KOMU 8’s Friday Night Fever High School football show, I previewed our game of the week for week one as the Mexico Bulldogs took on the Centralia Panthers. I previewed Mexico as they were fresh off a 10-2 season and have their eyes this fall on a conference title. The story talks about their two dynamic players Morgan Grubb and Anthony Shivers. The video includes the intro for the story where I went live in the field prior to the game with KOMU 8’s sports director Ben Arnet.
